La locura del hombre es la cordura del cielo
SINOPSIS
Luca Barella (56) es dueño de "La Fuente", una sanguchería ubicada en el epicentro de las protestas ocurridas desde 18 de octubre en Chile. La falta de clientela y decadencia del barrio tienen a Luca al borde de la quiebra a lo que se suma una grave enfermedad que decide mantener en secreto. Su padre, fundador del negocio, presiona a Luca para que venda y abandone el barrio, sus trabajadores comienzan a dudar de sus capacidades para enfrentar el desafío y su esposa e hija resienten su ausencia.
En una de las protestas Luca rescata a un fotógrafo de sus agresores y lo esconde dentro del local. Desde ese momento “La Fuente” se transforma en objetivo de los encapuchados quienes comienzan a atacarla regularmente.
Luca denuncia públicamente, por medio de videos, lo que ocurre a su local, buscando que las autoridades restauren el orden en el barrio. Sin embargo, las fuerzas de la destrucción avanzan por todos los flancos sin control.
Luca se niega a abandonar "La Fuente" e intenta defender su negocio apegándose a los principios de armonía y paz interior aprendidos del Iaido, técnica marcial de la cual es maestro. Sin embargo, su tiempo se acaba y Luca deberá decidir si sus principios son más fuertes que su deseo de preservar el legado familiar.
SYNOPSIS
Luca Barella (56) owns “La Fuente,” a sandwich shop located at the epicenter of the protests that have shaken Chile since the social uprising began on October 18, 2019. The lack of customers and the decline of the neighborhood have pushed Luca to the brink of bankruptcy, and on top of this he has a serious illness that he decides to keep secret. His father, the founder of the business, pressures him to sell and leave the neighborhood. His employees begin to doubt his ability to face the challenge, and his wife and daughter resent his absence.
During one of the protests, Luca rescues a photographer from his attackers and hides him inside the shop. From that moment on, “La Fuente” becomes a target for the hooded men, who begin to attack it regularly.
Luca publicly denounces what is happening to his shop through a series of videos, hoping the authorities will restore order in the neighborhood. However, the forces of destruction advance on every front, unchecked.
Luca refuses to abandon “La Fuente” and tries to defend his business by holding fast to the principles of harmony and inner peace he learned from Iaido, the martial art in which he is a master. But his time is running out, and Luca must decide whether his principles are stronger than his desire to preserve the family legacy.
